Feel free to jump into our weekly design brief and produce a mini design project. They are completely free. No catch! These exercises are The Graphic Design School’s contribution to the continuum of the design education of our design graduates, students and the design world at large. Once your done upload your image to share. We may upload your image to our new Instagram page, be sure to include your Insta handle (@username) so we can credit you. If you don’t have an Instagram account, you can just type in your name. Leave your details blank if you like.What is a good size for the images?
Please make sure your image is of good resolution, it shouldn’t exceed more than 5mb or thereabouts. png, jpeg, svg all acceptable formats. By uploading your image you are giving us permission to publish it.Can I subscribe to this awesome concept?

Week 42 Create an animated web banner GIF using a nifty layered typography effect
Apply this technique across any design system, easily edited typography technique.
Design Brief: Create a web banner GIF with type layered effect text using Illustrator and Photoshop.
Typeface Junegall - Adobe Font
Free iPad Mockup - Available on Pixeden
Beginner: Use one or two words to create your slogan. Multiplying and create 4 layers. Choose a background, it can be static. Save your final work into a PDF or PNG file for higher resolution. No need to create a GIF or mockup.
Intermediate: Use one or two words to create your slogan. Do this 2-4 times using different slogans. Multiplying and create 4 layers on each. Create a GIF, no need to create a mockup.
Advanced: Do the full project as in the video.
Design Constraints: You must layer your type and use a create an artboard size, eg web banner sizes. You must use Swatches the way we have taught you, or by creating Adobe Assets if you know how.
Design Goals: Create an animated GIF with type layered effect text.
Total Time Allowed: 30-120mins depending on your level of proficiency.
